In late August / early September last year I won the 6th place in the “Centered” challenge at gurushots.com, attended by almost 14,000 participants. One of the four photos I entered in the contest was a part of the exhibition in Thessaloniki.
Gurushots.com is an internet-based photographic community whose members compete in thematic challenges posted every day. In some of these challenges the prize is the presentation of photographs at exhibitions scattered all over the world. Usually the prize is won by 600 of the best pictures, but only 40 of those are printed (560 are displayed on LCD screens). I won the 6th place in the “Centered” challenge, thanks to which my photograph of the bridge in Tczew was displayed as one of the 40 photographs exhibited at the international art fair in Thessaloniki (Greece).
